Most of the members of the group live in Columbus, so playing local shows is one of the real pleasures of being part of the band. We had the opportunity to play in the Yes! Cinema on March 28th. It turned out to be one of our most supportive fan’s birthday, so the show proved to be even more fun than usual.
The theater’s walls are lined with fabric, the seats are fabric and the floor is carpeted, so the sound wasn’t plagued by the echoes which are sometimes a concern with smaller venues. Phil Forney did a great job mixing the sound for both the band and the audience.

Here are a few pictures from the show.
Six Friends Having Fun:
Featuring Tony Sanders on guitar:
Drew Robertson on conga drums:

Just before the break we sang Happy Birthday to Paula:
then invited her friends to come forward:
What do you think? Do people dance at 40 YOC concerts?
After a brief intermission we came back with Seven Bridges Road which allows Drew to leave his percussion kit, step forward and sing:
A little later, Steve Baker rose from his drum set to provide percussion on Teach Your Children Well:
I think it’s safe to say a good time was had by all!
Thanks for coming!
